Selective and mutual only, I don’t always follow back—if I do follow, I find your muse(s) to be interesting or love the fandom and you have a genshin verse as well! i also don't often follow first anymore, unless a blog has caught my eye.

Open to a variety of muses and blogs (canon, fandomless, multimuse, etc), the primary things I ask for though is an about, rules page, and your alias to be listed somewhere. I also most likely won't follow back if there isn't a visible genshin verse, or the ability to travel to the world; due to the nature of Sylvie being a genshin oc primarily and a god, they do not fit very well into other fandom specific verses.

If I don't know the fandom very well, I may not return the follow just out of more anxiety unless your Genshin verse is more detailed and easily accessible, and wanting to keep my dash more Genshin centric, apologies. 😔 If I do see you around on my dash quite a bit, I may end up returning the follow!

If your rules and info are not easily accessible, or are hard to read w/o a plain text version somewhere, it is unlikely I'll follow. Although aesthetics are nice, I do not want to have to squint, zoom in, or highlight to read your information.

I'm not picky if we don't interact even if we're mutuals, I know I enjoy just having people on my dash and there's no pressure to need to reach out for it! If you enjoy having me around, I'm glad about that! I'll never unfollow over a lack of interaction.

I also tend to unfollow if you haven’t returned a follow in 1–2 weeks from your main blog, mainly just to keep my dash to mutuals. I'm sorry if I do it by accident!! I usually try to keep an eye out for where you list your main blog and check if we're mutuals, but if it's tucked a bit too well I may miss it.

If you wish to break our following, a soft block would be highly preferred as my follower count is disabled, and I cannot tell if someone just simply unfollows, leaving it open to accidental interactions when we're not mutuals anymore (even with the mutual tracker I do still miss it). I am bad at keeping track of who has soft blocked me though, so if I do refollow you can just ignore my following, and I'll eventually unfollow (due to the above reason), or hard block me since I have a bad memory.

If you do hardblock me, for whatever reason, I more than likely will hardblock in return.

I don't follow back personals unless you're a friend / someone I talk to. I don't mind personals following and liking my content (or even sending asks in ... or reblogging my art), but if you reblog anything that's roleplay related, or reblog / like stuff from my blog enmass, that will be a block. I am not a personal blog to use as a reblog fodder. You can follow my personal blog for that.

I am … a slow and scattered writer, I cannot guarantee when my replies do come out since I'm quite tired most days and low energy. I often partake in dash commentary and shenanigans because it is the easiest on my energy, but long / serious threads and asks may take me much longer for me to get to. This is not the blog for you if you are not alright with having to wait on threads or aren't alright with having a decent amount of OOC / short content on your dash. This does not mean I do not want to roleplay with you.

I tend to queue up my replies and asks to make it easier on myself. I usually queue one (1) post on a workday near the evening to just give myself a bit of padding, so sometimes replies may take a little while to come out. If I'm feeling a reply / ask at the moment, or if it's dash commentary / a short ask, I may just post it on the spot, but it isn't frequent.

In terms of my thread tracker, I usually will only list threads that are plotted out, or ones that are breaking 5+ notes with 2-3 or more paragraphs. i will archive them after 2/3 months if there is no reply to them on the other person's end, but will unarchive them if the thread gets a reply. (kinda been dead so don't rely on this much)

I usually focus on 1–2 muses on multimuse blogs, mostly because it's just easier on my brain to focus on a handful of interactions.

Sometimes I will clean out old drafts / asks if I am feeling overwhelmed, I usually try to hold onto all my drafts to reply to eventually, but sometimes a smaller draft box helps me. I always, always am open to more threads though!

On the other end, please don't be afraid to drop threads we have! You don't have to give me a heads-up or anything; I know they can get overwhelming, you just don't have any ideas on how to reply, or the muse just fizzles out for the thread (especially since replies may come out weeks or months later), which is more than a-okay.

I do my best to tag everything; I use trigger cw for my tags, please let me know if I miss tagging something or if you need something tagged / changed. URLS with hyphens will get smushed into one word; I do not do spacing where the hyphens are.

I write using small text and minimal formatting; dialogue will always be bolded, and some words may be italicized for emphasis. I can also go iconless!

I love, love ask memes and dash commentaries, they're usually among the easier ways for me to start threads mostly since plotting is not something I actively do anymore, so my blog will consist of smaller bite-sized interactions.

Don’t be afraid to let me know if I miss threads / asks / starters;;; It appears Tumblr’s notification system is garbage and I never wanna miss anything.

I’m totally open to discussing pre-established stuff or discussing a deeper build-up of a friendship before doing starters; makes it easier to write for something if we’ve discussed it OOC, even if it’s silly interactions between our characters.

I do one-liners and multi-para, and I’m open to very informal quips between characters.

Sylvie is agender / librafeminine and goes by they / she; although they do have a strong masculine appearance, they do not identify as masc (and prefer fem or neutral terms). I'm fine if slip-ups rarely happen—especially as someone whose own first language isn't English—and they're corrected, but I'd like only they / them to be used for them.

Here is their full list of preferred titles / pronouns. Continual misuse of their pronouns (despite me using only they / them in my replies) just implies to me you haven't read their bio or go off appearances for pronouns.

Sylvie was made well before any solid Sumeru info came out, so I kept their design more nondescript and general. I have done some research into Ancient Persia (Achaemenid Empire era) and Zoroastrianism, as well as general Persian culture / cuisine for them, though this was later down the line (and still continually researching and learning new things!) so some of it is present in headcanons.

Mun ≠ muse , muse ≠ mun, Sylvie is a god and so their way of thinking and morality is different from normal people, but it does not reflect how I think.

I do have some pre-made relationships with Genshin canon characters since Sylvie was made as an OC that is following the Genshin storyline; they're not necessary to follow, and we can even start from complete strangers! It's mostly as a starting base for interactions / further discussion and can be found lower in the bonds tab.

As an addition to the above point, the only ones I'm not willing to budge too much on are Sylvie's connections to Zhongli, Venti, some of the adepti, and other gods. I am flexible and open to discussing the details, but they do play a big part in Sylvie's story and mentality.

I will be writing with duplicates, though everything is (mostly) in its own contained universe so whatever I write with one doesn't carry over to others, it's mostly a heads-up since I know some people have their own feelings on that. I do have some mains which are listed in the bonds tab, but this is more just to indicate what interpretations Sylvie is talking about by default.

There will be talk of spoiler and leak content on my blog. If it's super newly-released content, I will tag it accordingly and will usually post it under read-mores. After a week or so of content being out, I'll usually stop using the spoiler tag (unless it's big story content, then I'll usually wait 1-2+ weeks). Unreleased content / leaks will always be under a read-more with tags.

Sylvie won't be too forward with most people with their status of being an 'ex' god, but they will easily admit to being non-human. Archons / gods / non-human characters are welcome to deduce their true nature of being non-human / an elemental creature automatically.

I like primarily exploring platonic / friendship / character developments; my goal is to flesh out Sylvie as a character through different forms of interactions and viewpoints. As Sylvie is in a single-ship/exclusive relationship, they're not open to other romantic relationships.

Sylvie's relationship is persistent across verses / singleverse; even if they are not in a relationship in a different AU, they are still technically taken. By default, I write them with the idea that they are in their current relationship.

Sylvie has been planned to be in an OC / canon ship from before bringing them to tumblr; I ship them with Zhongli (and this lovely Zhongli has won their heart). Of course, all interactions with any other Zhonglis default to a platonic friendship, they still love him a lot as a friend!!

That being said, you can still flirt with Sylvie for funsies! They're pretty dense / meme-y, so it makes for funny interactions. Again, though, Sylvie will not have / return feelings for any character that does try outside their significant other.

I do post quite a lot of OOC content cause I just like yelling out my thoughts onto the dashboard and I have a lot of thoughts. Also, a lot of caps lock. So many caps lock. I do sometimes go back to purge old OOC content if they're not terribly RP related (unless a lot of people showed interest in some of my daily life stuff).

You’re more than welcome to talk to me through IMs / DMs, my warning is that I am slow when it comes to communicating, even if I am active on the dash. It's never out of a desire to ignore anyone, and it has nothing to do with you, I promise; my social energy is really shite and I suck at initiating convos. I am spacey and forgetful, sometimes I just don't have much to say at the moment, or I'm tired from working, so I may just need some time before I can reply. If you are not alright with this, please do not befriend me expecting to be the exception, it is just how I am. I do very much check out everything that is sent to me, though!

Due to that, I am selective with giving out my discord, so I keep it to few people.

Drama-free blog, I don’t partake in callout culture; there are some rare exceptions to this and usually only for close friends who I trust the judgment of, if it’s life-threatening, or if it's someone the RPC has had a lot of strife with that I've personally seen myself as well, or experienced, otherwise I do not care for it.

On that note though, I do have some people I'd prefer to keep out of my sphere; if you interact with Wyz / Yae (prsonatm / kokorotm) in any form, I'd prefer to not interact (or to have their URL at least tagged) since I do not want to see them around, considering they've stolen content and icons off someone I know and care for.

I don’t have passwords; I can reassure I read the rules of those I interact with, even rereading just to make sure I don't miss anything.

Please do not take my icons or artwork to use for your own, my icons have been heavily edited to fit Sylvie, so I will know, and a lot of my own art and commissioned art is used on the blog. The same extends with parts of Sylvie's backstory / existence.

And the usual roleplay etiquette: no godmodding, pestering for threads, cutting your posts, etc.

Foras is the name of an elemental being born from an irminsul branch that was planted in Sumeru's forests.

That tree was worshipped in old Sumeru for many generations before their birth and well before the Archon Wars began spreading out; upon Sylvie's 'birth' from it, they were eventually adopted as their guardian to a large cluster of villages.

Their feral form is their natural-born form, reaching 13 feet in height and 26 in length, though when born they were the size of a newborn fawn.

Although seen as the god of trees due to how they came into the world, their power extends to the surrounding flora; with their powers, they could create strips of land with fertile soil that would be used to grow crops outside the wetness of the surrounding forest. They were often asked for blessings for harvests to be bountiful, or for natural medicines to work on ailments and improving health.

Their main source of trade back then was focused on highly used crops (barley, etc), foraged items, wood, selling of medicinal herbs and spices, and fabric exchange (in either crafted outfits or raw materials), as it was their primary 'currency' ... and mora hadn't come to exist back then as a universal currency.

During the dry season when harvests were quieter, they went into 'hibernation', though this was mostly a guise to travel outside Sumeru and explore the world that was abundant with different gods.

It was during this time they met other gods and beings such as Morax, Azhdaha, Marchosius, Osial, Guizhong, Havria, and more.

They were present for the beginning of the Archon Wars when it began to bleed over the continent of Sumeru, but in an attempt to get help from Andrius to shelter the people under their protection, they found themselves in the snow-covered Mondstadt after an attempt to contact Morax went unanswered.

Unfortunately, before having a chance to get to Andrius, the interruption of another god resulted in them having taken a fatal hit that nearly bisected them, injured from having killed the other god violently.

In the short moments before losing consciousness, they buried themselves underground using the roots of the hibernating trees, cocooning themselves underneath the spot where the Windrise Tree would soon come to form through Vanessa.

This injury caused them to essentially die, but this is when their regeneration kicked in for the very first time; due to that, the time it took for them to revive and recover lasted around 1000 years, waking up 500 years after the Archon Wars were over (so 1.5k years before the present time).

Due to them being "dead" they emitted no elemental energy and remained practically invisible over their recovery.

The general belief was that they had died due to the war after abandoning the people they protected; the grand tree they were born from withered alongside them.

After waking up, they ended up chasing down rex lapis to find out more information about the current timeline, him being the closest god to where they woke up and one of the ones they knew from back then. Foras ended up interrupting a Rite of Descension on purpose to get his attention.

They went through different stages of grief and guilt at finding out so many gods were killed or chased off due to being seen as "evil" for not agreeing with the new rule, hearing the belief that they had abandoned their people ... this feeling of helplessness and anger eventually made them denounce their own godhood and want to just live as someone else.

They, as a god, have also faded out of history at this point and no one seems to remember them.

After learning of the circumstances of the world, they decided to turn to Travelling to learn about the new world and how to be human, finding a desire to want to integrate among them and learn more about living. This is where they took on the name Sylvatica, which was eventually simplified to Sylvie.

During this time, they began to befriend Barbatos as well when the chance was provided, as well as relearning their friendship with Rex Lapis due to the vast difference of the one they knew, and the one that existed now.

With the other Archons, those who did not react with hostility, were ones they attempted to befriend as well to at least maintain a connection to other gods.

For the most part, their time was busy with exploring and learning the new world that existed now, living among humans and learning their habits.

The fall of Khaenri'ah though caused a large rift between them and whichever of the seven they had befriended across the years. The pure anger they felt towards Celestia drove them to disappear for the next 500 years off of Teyvat and into the dark sea.

They only resurfaced at the notion of Rex Lapis's death a week after the situation, finding their way back to Liyue out of worry and disbelief of the incident occurring (with massive relief and anger to figure out it was just a staging).

For the time, they are mostly observing and back to wandering around the nations, finding interest in the new developments and the traveler's goal to find their sibling; the drive to push and topple the system put in by Celestia also rests at the back of their mind.

During the lock-down of Inazuma, they have snuck to the island, covertly aiding the resistance in their actions against Baal either through supply sabotage, damaging important structures, or offering herbs and plants that either aid in healing the members or hinder the shogun's army.

With the restoration of Inazuma's peace (tentatively), they have returned to Liyue in preparations to make their way to Sumeru and see what is happening in the lands they once called home.

With their arrival to Sumeru and with meeting the traveller on the road ... WIP.

Changes in the irminsul, from Rukkahdevata's appearance, to the wanderer coming into being, have left them feeling uneasy. Although they do not enjoy connecting to it, the feeling of something being off with their memories have them revisiting how they look at the past ...

A delve within Liyue's Chasm has left them worse for wear; although recovered from their injuries without any lasting effects, it still wasn't all too pleasant to go through abyssal poisoning for a month or so.

Their relationship with the geo god slowly flourished upon their return to Teyvat as the two reconnected from years long gone; the distance formed from Zhongli's years of being an Archon slowly dissipated and Sylvie's friendship was returned in full once more.

It was a case of mutual pining that they're both oblivious to and others were not (although Sylvie was the most oblivious to their feelings and his, while he had already come to terms with his own), culminating in an impulsive kiss from the Dendro god—and the subsequent freak out and fear about it not being mutual that was quickly quelled.

For the most part, they still behave as old friends would, often ribbing each other and pushing each other's buttons in a way that betrays their familiarity and comfort with each other from thousands of years of friendship.

Somehow got accidentally married on his birthday, though Zhongli proposed with more intention for their birthday.

Plant manipulation / creation across a variety of spectrums and ranges due to their inherent control over Dendro. They have the ability to create and grow hybrid plants, and with enough time and adjustment, can learn to create even non-native plants if one offers a sample to them. Their preferred elemental weapon(s) of choice is wooden roots and vines.

Poison / sickness / infection immune and creation due to above reasons. Plant-based poisons and illnesses do not do anything to them, nor do objects like drugs or alcohol. Any poison that is non-natural, non-plant based, or abyssal, will at least incapacitate them until their body can process it.

Body transformation / biological manipulation; Sylvie can take on any desired form (with few constraints) through shapeshifting. It is not a quick ability though, it takes minutes for them to shift any portion of their body, pending on how much is changed.

Vocal mimicry / appearance mimicry; due to the fact that they can shapeshift practically any portion of themselves, they can take on existing appearances of people if desired (though effectiveness depends on how well they know the person's habits and patterns).

Voice throwing / ventriloquism / vocal amplification; Sylvie can talk without needing to move their mouth and is able to shift where their voice comes from, allowing them to reach their voice out over 8 meters from where they are. If need be, they can also amplify their voice, but it's not used often.

High-level self-regeneration; all they need is a piece of themselves to reform their body, even from fatal wounds.

Low-level healing; they can heal minor wounds of others through sharing their elemental essence, or create plants to help with healing. Most effective on minor scrapes and cuts.

Pocket dimension manipulation; on a small scale, they just have a literal big pocket to carry all their items when adventuring to avoid carrying any backpacks.

Sylvie cannot handle spice to save their life, despite a deep love of spicy food in general; they have for fun created an inhumanely spicy pepper that will kill a person, and they did eat it.

They cannot sing to save their life either; they are quite tone-deaf, even though they try their best. On the opposite end, they can play the tar and know quite a variety of dances across the different continents of Teyvat.

Sylvie will never introduce themselves as Sylvatica; they quite dislike the name, even though they chose it for themselves after nyssa sylvatica, or the black tupelo tree. only those they knew from a long time ago will know of the name.

Dendro slimes and other Dendro elemental beings are calm around them or even attracted towards them due to being made out of pure Dendro.

Do not touch them with anything cold (like an ice cube) unless you want to be punched out of a knee-jerk reaction; the sensation of cold has negative associations for them.

Their ears are quite sensitive to touch and like being touched with anything cold, it may cause them to protectively cover their ears.

They can eat everything for the most part because their body can digest practically anything (minus anything originating from the void realm). The instigator of mora-eating crimes.

The only reason Sylvie dislikes birds is that birds used them as a perch when in their deer form, and you can imagine what it's like having birds stay on you for an extended time...

They can purr, though it's not what you'd expect it to be.

Xinyan's supporter; will go to her concerts (especially in Fontaine) and jam out to them shamelessly.

Sylvie will wrestle mitachurls and lawachurls for fun, they even have friends in some hilichurl clans.

They tend to view grooming (brushing one's hair, etc) as a bonding, affectionate activity, so friends may find Sylvie working on their hair to fix it (or licking it if they're in their deer form).

Their blood tastes disgusting, it's reminiscent of a medicinal, herbal taste mixed with the traditional metallic taste of blood. It usually contains toxins in it, but it has been diluted to a point where humans can ingest it with only the side effect of stomach aches. at its most potent (aka at normal levels), it will kill a human in a few minutes, quite excruciatingly.

Drugs and the like do not affect them at all due to the way their body functions. They have to straight up alter their body chemistry to allow themselves to get drunk.
